SO, HOW WOULD YOU SUM UP YOUR STYLE?

My philosophy is to stage naturally and to focus on the grace of the moment. Sure, we’ll create some awesome poses together. But I’ll also encourage you to move around, interact, and soak it all up!

With regard to my shooting style, I love to incorporate luminous light and surrounding scenery as much as possible. I’m also incredibly inspired by movies, especially in terms of composition and stylization. I’m a big fan of showcasing how epic everything is!

Aesthetically, I’m all about punchy color and vibrant contrast. I love rich, vivid shades and a warm, dramatic tone. I also have a special place in my heart for black & white because it’s awesome.

 

CAN WE PLAN THINGS OUT A BIT FIRST?

Definitely! I’d love to hear what you have envisioned. And I’ll work with you during our session to put together natural and easygoing scenes full of in-the-moment shots.

 

WHAT KINDS OF PORTRAITURE & LIFESTYLE DO YOU DO?

Maternity, children & family, special occasions & milestones, boudoir, professional & head shot (both commerical & theatrical), and probably some others not listed here. I just love photographing people & personalities!

 

ASIDE FROM WEDDINGS, WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU DO?

Anything & everything that involves a good (photographic) time. Parties, performances, productions (need stills or BTS shots?)… Let’s talk about what you’re planning and how we can rock it out!

 

WHAT KIND OF POST PRODUCTION & EDITING DO YOU DO?

Many of my techniques are derived from the darkroom: dodging, burning, and color adjustments. I balance the highlights & shadows, even out the tones & gradations, and accentuate the overall color & contrast. As for any actual retouching, I’m all about clean and flattering. Lastly, when it comes to file backup, I don’t like to take any chances: I copy everything to multiple hard drives and to the cloud.

 

CAN I HAVE MY PHOTOS IN BOTH COLOR AND BLACK & WHITE?

Most certainly. I always include both so that you have the best of both worlds.

 

HOW MANY FINAL IMAGES WILL I GET?

This one’s tough to estimate since every single shoot is unique, but typically I send at least 10 for mini sessions and 40 for full sessions. For weddings & events, it usually averages out to at least 50 images per hour. Regardless of the exact number, I assure you that I will give you a wide range with plenty of options!

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET ALL OF OUR IMAGES?

1 week for mini sessions, 2 weeks for full sessions, 4 weeks for events, and 8 weeks for weddings.

 

DO I GET THE HIGH RES? CAN I PRINT THE PHOTOS MYSELF?

You get the whole shebang. I’ll send you a secure online gallery of edited, high-resolution files with a print release so that you can share & reproduce the images however you’d like.

 

CAN I ORDER PRINTS FROM YOU?

Yep, you can either order prints right from your gallery link or you can order them through me directly. Everything is produced with archival ink on archival paper and with immense attention to detail. For pricing, please contact me for a current menu.

 

DO YOU ALSO OFFER ALBUMS?

WHAT ABOUT WALL ART?

In addition to prints & albums, there are also canvases and framed prints. All items are custom made, ready to hang, and come in a spectrum of sizes. Additionally, each option may be purchased individually or as a gallery wall set.

 

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

I have a cute little place in the San Fernando Valley that doubles as my studio. It’s right below Santa Clarita, right off of the 5 + 210 / 118 freeways. It’s quiet, cozy, and I have my own editing room that’s filled with print, frame, canvas, and album samples. (Home offices = good times!)

 

CAN WE MEET BEFOREHAND?

For sure! You are more than welcome to come to my studio, and/or we can set up a video chat.

 

CAN I PICK THE LOCATION FOR MY SESSION? CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOME LOCATIONS?

Yes! Just let me know what you have in mind. We have so many options in this fair city of ours!

 

WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR MY SESSION / EVENT / WEDDING?

Absolutely! I’m already packed.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?

Travel within a 50 mile radius of my studio is included with all sessions. For weddings, the travel area extends to all of Los Angeles, Ventura, and/or Orange County. For locations beyond that, I’d probably need a room for the night. If you cover that, then there are no extra fees or per-diem charges. Lastly, for destinations outside of Southern California, please contact me and we can hash out a plan—I love adventures!

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO PAY AFTER THE SHOOT?

Some surprises are wonderful, but not when it comes to something that you didn’t think you had to pay for in the first place. So unless you want to include prints, albums, or other à la carte items, there are no extra fees or hidden costs. And for those things that you do add on, I will first send you a quote detailing everything.

 

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

Cash, check, credit card, PayPal, Chase QuickPay, and Wells Fargo SurePay. Unfortunately, I unable to accept bitcoin or livestock at this time.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN YOUR OPERATION?

It’s just me! I’m your point person from soup to nuts, and I handle everything myself so that I can ensure that every single element of your experience is up to par.
